Wow, I've managed to blog during the middle of the day instead of in the wee morning hours. Heh! The reason is simple enough. I'm quite tired, and don't feel like doing too much at the moment. Thus, here I am, FX-ing on Tsukushi, and blogging on Utena. Wheeeee.
And I'm tired b/c I lettered four pages of English last night, and much more exciting....I finally watched the hour-long premiere of Naruto Shippuden. An hour of adrenalin high. X_x Speaking of which....*happy sigh* Everyone looks soooooo lovely in their 2 years older forms....and Gaara-sama!! *faints* I'm kind of glad that one huge bit of info was spoiled for me in a Gaara/Lee fanfic b/c I would have died of shock if I hadn't already known. Now he's even more unreachable....and any sequels I had planed for Minami and Ai-kun must be vastly replanned. X_x Oh, if only Lee-kun had been in the ep!! I think there was one small glimpse of him in the opening credits, but that isn't nearly enough. ><
And in the bit of eyecatch omake, we learned 14 year old Naruto is now 166 cm tall. Which means at 170 cm/5 foot 7, I'm still taller!!! I wonder how his height compares to Gaara-sama's....and where's my 15 year old Lee-kun?!?!
Can someone please explain to me why I'm starving when I had breakfast only 2 hours ago??

Even though I was very careful, Itachi's first line at The Pit managed to not make it in italics. So now I have to reupload a fixed version, which is always a pain at The Pit. >< Anyway, this final draft has a few extra lines towards the end and some tweaked words here and there. I'm very pleased with how it turned out!! Before I was bumped off the Just Arrived page at the Pit, I earned 85 hits and one review. Speaking of which, the reviewer concluded with the most interesting line. "Cool short story, seemed to
be written in a very straight-forward kind of way." Ehhhhhhhhhhh. I like it. ^^ Sasuke is a rather straight-forward guy, when you can get him to talk, of course. I must think of a worthy reply to this review. ^^V It's nice to have my first review for AtEoCT (and probably only, for quite some time) not be a squeeing fangirl going "ZOMG SasukeNaru is so HAWT!!!!!!" No favorites or notifications yet, but I don't expect any, since it's a one-shot, and you'd really have to try to find any shouenai overtones. :P
Sar-chan planted some plot bunny nibbles in my head. Maybe I could write some other creepy vignettes of moments from Sasuke's POV. But I'm concerned that his constant obsessing about Itachi's words and Naruto's possible future role would become a bit tedious. It's an idea, though. I'll file it away in the prospective fics drawer. ^^
The type of mood I'm in at the moment lends itself well to writing. Perhaps I'll open up DaaGB and see if inspiration hits. ^^
To save my writing energy for fanfic, I shall depart after the manga report:
Clay 9.75, 95, 97. Skip 9.56. Temp fanbook .235. English 6.10-12, 14, and 15. Yellow: 2, Orange: 6, Pink/PfH: 2. Total pages: 10. Fairly obvious where all my energy went. I'm doing one page of Temp and Skip each until the English is finished. I still have 18 pages of Skip buffer left. And my Temp quota is only one page a day. No new Nana for a good 9 months, and no script for New title's 2nd half, so that's why they are missing. I don't want to think too much about Clay, since it's obvious I won't be making the finish-by date I declared a month ago of Feb 28th. Nope, not likely....espec not now, with the English sucking up all my energy. Joy joy joy....
But hey, I downloaded the new Naruto Shippuden ep last night. Guess what I'll be watching later!!!! And I gave in and ate a banana. ><
