No no no no NO!! I refuse to believe that my beloved, wonderfully weird, adorable, sexy-smart L is dead. Absolutely not, no how no way!! He faked it, he had to!!! When he realized Watari had been killed, he took a pill or something similar to fake his death. Only Light's father went with him to the hospital to confirm his death, so when L woke up, he told Yagami-san that his son was under suspicion again, and to make everyone believe L is really dead!!!!
L cannot die!! He's too smart and awesome to die!!! No no no no NOOOOOO!!!! *wails in misery*
And I forbid any of you who know what happens and how the series ends from saying anything. I do NOT want to know! I hate spoilers with a passion, particularly for a series I love. Just let me wallow in my misery. *sniffle* In fact, I'm so paranoid about them that for the first time, I'm disabling comments.
