The end of an era...
Not but a few moments ago, I saved the final version of my last page of Naruto. *sighs* For seven months, I've been able to contribute to the world of Naruto. 850 pages or so bear my lettering and FX style...three volumes and the very first chapter of Naruto ever.
*wistful sigh* I have so many memories of this title now...of more than being just a fan. My insane joy upon being offered to letter Naruto back in January, the beginnings of Work Hell when I faced 6 simultaneous lettering titles, my first professional and non-fangirl Naruto observations, when I feared b/c of deadline constraints I would not be able to letter the all-important Flashback Volume 25, when I was given the extension that allowed me to keep it, still more drama about that extension, The Great Reveal, having Kishimoto-sensei's permission to draw women's underwear on Sexy-Jutsu Naruto--which also means he saw my art *dies*, the nightmare of correcting an entire volume of Naruto in one day, and the lovely comparatively relaxed pace I had for vol 29.
Memories...
So what happens now, that my Naruto odyssey is over? Nana is resuming once I return from the west coast, and I'll have Temp Title 2 in a month or so. And of course, Clay, Nana, and Skip are all still running in Japan, with no ending in sight. I still have 6 volumes left of Honey, too. ^^ Busy busy busy.

Yes, I will miss Naruto. So I guess the next question is: if I were offered to pinch-hit for more Naruto volumes, would I take them? If I could fit them into my schedule, yes. If I were offered to become the permanent letterer for Naruto, would I take it? Hmmmmm...now that requires some thought. I doubt it will happen, but it's interesting to consider. Very interesting...
