Yes, mina-san! Today is my birthday! Waiii! XD Today I am one year older, and one year more firmly on the side of "obasan" versus "oneechan". Ha!

As my b-day gift to myself, I bought $100 worth of books at the bookstore last weekend, while celebrating my bday with my friends. Two of the books were even prose! I bought "New Moon" in the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer, and then right next to her section on the shelf was a series about pirates. I've had a thing for pirates since long before PoTC, so I picked up a volume and read the back. It sounded interesting, so I grabbed vol 1 of this series. Wheeee! Impulse buy!!! The rest of my $100 took advantage of the September buy-4-mangas-get-1-more-free sale at Borders and Waldenbooks this month. From any manga publisher, too! ^^V
To celebrate the day of my actual bday, I am....going to work!! Waii! *s2m is such a crazy party animal!* But I'm in a great mood today! You see, Naruto editor offered me another Shippuuden volume, and since if at all possible I will take any Naruto volume I can, I pounced on the juicy carrot he was dangling in front of me! So now I must finish as much as I can before New title 2 kicks in. And Honey is even on a short hiatus, since I don't have the raw page files from Japan just yet, thus can't begin vol 5. So I only have Skip, Nana, and now Naruto once more!! B/c timing is everything! ^^V
Kyaaa! This is my 4th Naruto volume, 5th if you count the one I'll be doing next year! *boogies* I wonder if the anime has reached vol 32 yet....my my my! And hopefully my free subscription to Shonen Jump will start up with the November issue, since that's the mag my Naruto proto chapter will appear in! *jumps up and down*
