Babblings related to the previous post...
Thanks to you guys sabotaging me feeding my bunny, the ficlet I started in my previous post is now 1200 words long and has a title. :B I rather like how it's coming along, too. I've managed to work it into the manga chapter that started it, namely #282. Of course, in a month or two the anime will catch up and Joss all my expansion and body language, but oh well. That can be solved by a "manga-verse!" author's note. :P
Now! Maturation's Matriculation! This is my Claymore fic, the one I've been talking about on and off for a few months. Part One is finally up! The links to the usual places are in my profile. Minna-san, yonde kudasai! Only one review so far, one story favorite (by the reviewer) and one story alert. Not as much as I would like, but then angst!Raki probably scares a lot of people away. *shrugs* Their loss.
I guess that's it for tonight. I'm gonna see if I can poke my fic a little more. Oh, and the entire series has no title yet, but this chapter is called "Rival's Come Back - Shino". Internet cookies to those who catch the reference. ^^
For the hell of it, I searched on the Pit for "ShinoHina". Only 51 results, and most of those are massive shipping fics where everyone is matched with someone else. So it seems this is a rare pairing...both a curse and a blessing, hmm?? Two or three of the more focused ShinoHina fics seem promising in their titles and summaries, though I'm reluctant to read them for fear of being influenced. Though I'll definitely pass on the King Arthur AU....*cringes* I know Hinata is a princess, but come on.... I'm ashamed to admit one high school AU sounds promising. (They can't all be bad, right?)
Anyway, my fic is really rough, and I think I'm going to add more tomorrow. I've decided rather than have a set plan on what to write, with a definite ending like my other two series of DaaGB and MM (Maturations' Matriculation. More on this in a minute), I'm just going to do this fic in true fanfiction style! Meaning to start writing and add chapters as I think of them. Wheeee! It'll be fun to leave things open for randomness and to explore ideas as they occur to me. I'm pretty sure I'll be changing POV between Shino and Hinata for each chapter. As for how many chapters...at this point, I know there will be two.
