The stuff is coming!
The movers are supposed to be here sometime this afternoon with all my stuff. Only a week after my arrival! Not bad, I must say. ^^ The moving company didn't tell me they'd have to transfer my items to a different company, though, since apparently they themselves don't go all the way up to Oregon. A bit surprising to talk to someone from this other company. Hmmm.
Of course, I forgot that I needed to keep my cash cashe around to pay the other half of my moving fee on delivery of the stuff. Thankfully I had enough left, though this will leave me with only $50. I'd better open a local checking account here soon. :P I can't believe I forgot about having to pay the 2nd half here...*bonks self on head* I did buy a money order to give them as payment. Cash probably would have been fine, but call me paranoid.
I'll have to unplug and move my computers to the other side of the room so the guys can set up my desk/shelves where the comps are now. This means I have to disconnect myself from the net for the time being. ONOES!
Anyway....I'm still playing catchup on the flist, so if you're wondering why I haven't commented on your post, now you know. I'll make it there eventually!! If something is pressing, leave me a comment and link here and I'll check it out ASAP.
Spicer-kitty is doing fine. I don't think he's hidden himself behind the dryer for the past two days. Yay!! I plan to drug him again once I hear from the guys and lock him in the bathroom. That way when he won't freak at all the weird noises, and when he comes out and sees how cluttered and different his new home is, it won't be too stressful for him.
Though he'll probably jam himself back into his hidey hole for a bit.
