slr2moons | An amusing break

Tomorrow morning I depart for Montana to visit my cousin R-chan over the weekend, so today I've been cleaning my place and packing. I decided to take a break and read my two newest doujinshi, which I bought along with a friend's birthday presents. My Sesshoumaru-centric Inu Yasha drama book is lovely, but this post is about the second book.

This one, from Ouran, contains stories by two artists. One of the artist's style is very reminiscent of Skip's Nakamura-sensei. Kyouya and Tamaki look very nice as Ren and Shotaro's cousins, I must say. I never argue against eye-candy! So then why the "amusing" instead of "shiny" break?

The reason is the OTHER Ouran artist. You see, everyone in her pages has the duckbill look. Unfortunately in one panel, Tamaki is POUTING, which of course makes the duckbill even worse. Seriously, just change his uniform for a sailor shirt and hat and he could be a stand-in for Donald.

I laughed. A great deal. Back to packing,
