Shigoto Update! It's been a while...
Hey, everyone! Here's what's going on with work. ^^
First up, Natsume volume 1 is out!! Kyaaa! It's always exciting when a volume 1 is released. XD New series debut, yay! Minna, I would be delighted if you would do me the honor of reading this volume. I've grown to really like Natsume, and want everyone to give it a try. ^^ I think it is worth it!
Claymore - Volume 16 is completely in the can. I already have the raw pages for volume 17, and Clay Editor estimates lettering will begin in April. If the translator makes his own deadlines, of course. I've actually lettered 3/4ths of a page of vol 17 for the preview in the back of 16. Some FX and required touchup. One page (almost) down, already! Heh. ^^V
Nana - I'm 4/5ths through with volume 21, and am waiting on the script for the last 30 pages. Not much rush to finish this volume, since Yazawa-sensei has yet to resume creating new chapters in Japan. Looks like we're going to be left at 21 for quite some time. U.U Let us hope she feels up to working again soon!
Naruto - The conversion for 48 is also completely in the can. I already have the raw stats for 49. I estimate the conversion will begin sometime in February. That's just my guess, though. I really really hope I have almost two months for it again, like I did for 48. That was lovely, not having to scramble to finish in less than a month...*wistful eyes*
Natsume - Volume 3 is done! No word yet on when I start volume 4, but should be in 2 or 3 weeks. Again, translator willing.
New Title 5 - Still no news from Shoujo Editor 3. I just checked ANN for the mangaka, and it looks like the license still hasn't been announced. I have no idea what is going on. *baffled expression*
Skip Beat - Nothing going on here. Vol 20 will be out March 2nd. I finished vol 21 back in October. Shoujo Editor 2 says the translator, Tomo, is dealing with a massive project on one of her other titles, thus the reason script for 22 is delayed. I miss Kyoko. T.T Tomo, good luck with your current project! May you finish it and Skip 22 soon!
Now, how many of you paid attention and realized my current situation?? I regret turning down the new shounen title Naruto Editor offered to me back in December. Oops. The value of hindsight! *facepalm* I suppose the good thing about this is I can work on my original manga again, and play with my fanfics without guilt. Perhaps in a few days I'l have more Nana script! *crosses fingers for good luck*
Oh yes, and I'm being interviewed about my job!! It's terribly fun answering the questions. I even managed to summarize my lettering method in two short paragraphs! I didn't know that was possible. Of course I will post the link to the site when it is up. :3
ETA: Yay, the rest of the Nana 21 script is here! *pounces on it*
