30 Day Fanfiction Meme, day 3!

3 – For each of the fandoms from day two, what were your favorite characters to write?

Bleach: Grimmjow. Writing a character so very different from myself was rather liberating. Grimmjow is brash and violent and loves killing things. Very different from my usual choice to provide the POV!

Claymore: the yoma. Scripting the typical cheesy yoma dialogue was fun, probably because it's supposed to be cheesy, and thus less pressure to make perfect.

DOGS: Badou. I was glad I found a way to include Badou in the story, as he's my fave in canon. (Yuletide gift, the requester wanted Heine and Giovanni.) The loyal "normal" friend character is often my favorite in the various canons I enjoy, and in DOGS, it's Badou. ^^

Ghost Hunt: Lin. Lin is my favorite character from Ghost Hunt, and writing him was incredibly easy. I just took my own introverted nature and made it even more extreme! XD (When Lin is dealing with those kids in the fic, that's pretty much me and how I deal with kids, when forced to. ^^;;)

Naruto: Gaara. I have to go with Gaara, since I have yet to write Sai. Gaara can be difficult to write, particularly if the fic is pre-Shippuuden. The character has had such a messed-up life, and has such volatile power, making it work and work RIGHT is a challenge.

Samurai Champloo: Jin. I like the strong, silent types! :3 (In addition to super-sexy noisy violent ones. Grimmjow, I'm looking at YOU.)

Tantei Gakuen Q: Kyuu. Kyuu is so bouncy and cute--and in my headcannon a devious secretly lustful manipulator who goes after those he wants with no regrets--and that makes him tons of fun! I can never predict what he'll do next, the little scamp.
