Corrections are tedious hell. Particularly when they are rushed, and I face correcting an entire manga volume --180 pages--in one day. It's for Naruto vol 25, and--once again--I'm sick of Naruto. Bleague.
The real kicker is that I completely forgot that we see about half of the history between Itachi and Sasuke in flashbacks before vol 25, namely in vol 17. So this means that half the FX I carefully lettered for the aforementioned flashbacks are going the way of the trash can, in favor of those done by the letterer for vol 17. *grumbles* My FX are better! The dark side of me really hopes that other letterers are facing the same situation as I am. They'll have to delete their preciously rendered FX in favor of mine. Hmph. But mine will still be better.
I have to admit there's one good note about all this: the proper version of the missing page 109 was sent from Japan in time for me to letter, so yay. Page 109 is now completed, too. And lucky for me, it was the textless version. So I didn't have to touch up anything on that page. Saved me 5 minutes or so. Waiiiii.
Naruto is all I've been doing, alllllll daaaaaayyyyyyyyyy lonnnnnnnng. I'm horribly tempted to write "rat bastard" on Itachi's face on each and every page to relieve the tedium and frustration...except I know I'd miss deleting one, and that wouldn't be good. *pokes Itachi* You're a real jerk, you know that?? Not that he would particularly care...
I'm so sick of manga that I can't focus enough to pre-letter Honey and Skip. Not even with lovely Tsuruga Ren-sama wandering around his apartment wearing only sweatpants. O_o You know it's bad when not even a shirtless--and damp from the shower--Ren-sama can hold my attention.
I really wanted to work on my beta for Star-chan, and the lovely fanart illustration for Star-chan's giftfic to me. Not going to happen anytime soon, since I have to make up at least the Skip pages I'm supposed to do today, in addition to the normal quota. At least I have a large buffer for Honey.
As before, when I spontaneously changed the layout of my lj b/c I was soooooo sick of manga, this time I've overhauled my profile to include links to my various bits of fanfic. Feel free to click and hopefully enjoy. Feedback on my little link list is appreciated. Oh, and on my fics too, of course.

At least the flashbacks are over, and it's just Naruto and Sasuke having at each other now. *doodles hearts around Naruto since Gaara-sama and Lee-kun aren't available* Hey, I "had" to draw Lee-kun's backside in this volume! Heeheehee. *^^* Be sure to check it out when the book is in stores. Page 19. Rowr! :3 He's really small, so you can't see much, but it's the principle of the thing. ^^V

I love my job, I really do. I just wish things weren't so rushed so often. *woeful sigh*
