slr2moons | Ahhh...can you hear the sounds of change??

Nothing like awakening to the sound of your house shaking to the gyrations of a diamond-bladed saw cutting through the foundation, neeeeee??? Yeah. Remember the post about the towel brigade?? The problem is finally being fixed. Today was the first step. Wheee! At the moment, there's a 60 foot trench that extends from the bottom of the house out through the front lawn and almost to the horse pen fence. Oh yes, and there's a large backhoe parked in the middle of our lawn for the night. It looks kinda cute, all curled up on the green grass.

I full expect the construction to wake me up again tomorrow. Joy.

This post is short b/c I really need to concentrate on work tonight. I owe several of you some serious commenting, and I hope I can manage a few in my small breaks. If not tonight, then tomorrow!
