Yasumi ga owatta yo!!!!
A great deal is going on at the moment.
House drainage repairs are stalled for the rain and over the weekend. Scheduled to resume on Monday. Unfortunately, the air conditioning unit is in the way of said repairs, so I might be without AC for a day or two. Ugh. I'm not looking forward to that. O_o
But I am looking forward to tomorrow!! I haven't had the time to get my hair cut since December, so it's annoyingly long and driving me crazy. CRAZY! Last Dec I had it bleached white and the tips dyed purple. I liked it! This time I'm going for candy apple red instead, as the dress I will wear to my cousin's wedding is black and red. (A cheongsam/Chinese dress, BTW.) Purple and red don't look too good together, hence the color change. ^^ I will post pics!!! ^^V
Oho, and a new development with work!! I've taken on a new title that is only one volume long. I'm not sure if I can name it yet, so to be safe, I shall temporarily dub it "New title 2". I will say that it's shoujo, and by an artist for whom Ilove her bishounen have much respect. *nods* Not to mention the fun subject matter. *grins* I should begin letting this volume in September, which coincides nicely with the end of Naruto v29 and Clay v11. Oh, and I should finally be resuming Nana in late Sept or early Oct. I might have a 2 weeks or so of overlap, but I'll manage. It might not be fun, but I'm not going to pass up this chance to work on something with so much eye candy that sounds so fun! XD
Today I roughed out my schedule for my trip this summer. I want to go to SanFran and finally meet all the editors who tolerate my fangirly self. But finally seeing Viz in the flesh is 1/2 of the trip. The other half is going north to Oregon, which is where I want to move. ^^ I took the free quiz at www.findyourspot.com and was pleased that 3/4ths of my results were in Oregon and Washington state. Precisely where I want to move. My IRL friend L-chan is coming with me to Oregon. Road trip!! XD I'm also managing my finances a little better. High interest rates are good when they're on your savings account, no?? *rubs hands together with much anticipation*
It's amusing that I've done more in the past two weeks in regards to moving out than I have in the past...well...ever. I guess Mac really was keeping me here. D= Sorry, Mom... (No, she's not pleased I'm hoping to move 2,000 miles away.)
So. Anyone on my flist live in Northern California or Oregon??? I know five of you don't, but maybe one of the rest...?
As the subject says, my lovely break is over. I still only have Skip and Honey to letter at the moment, but it's time for me to get ahead of schedule so I can take off 5 days for my trip, have time for visiting friends and family that I haven't seen in years, and other fun events.
Shitsurei shimaaaasu!! And no, I haven't forgotten DaaGB part 4. I'll write on it in my spare moments. ^^
