I've been rather silent lately, in comments, email, and blogging. Gomen. It isn't for any particular reason--I'm no busier than normal, not feeling any worse than normal. I guess I simply haven't felt like chatting much!!

To catch everyone up on work, here's what's going on. I rechecked my schedule math, and provided I don't fall behind, everything looks good and manageable. I'll be finishing Honey 4.1 and Naruto 29 both a week before they are due b/c of my trip to the west coast. I have an extra week for Skip 12.1 for my vacation, and I've been keeping up with my Clay schedule, which I calculated to allow me the extra time in the first place.

Clay 11.1 is almost finished. All the easy pages are through, and I only have 5 orange and pink pages left. So in 5 days (including today), Clay 11.1 is done! I'm just under half-way through Honey 4.1. And thankfully, Honey vol 4 is breaking the Rule of 4s, so YAY. (I'll post more about this later.) Naruto 29.1 is completely finished, and I'm about half-way through 29.2. Today I started Skip 12.1.

I'll be resuming Nana with vol 13 when I return from my trip, and New Title 2 will be kicking in around September as well. Of course, 29 is my last vol of Naruto *shiku shiku* and since Clay 11 is due in very early Sept, and I usually have a month between Clay volumes, my work load will go from Clay, Honey, Naruto, Skip to Honey, Nana, New Title 2, Skip. I might have a week or two of overlap if Clay 12 arrives early, so it still has the potential to turn rather nasty, but we'll see.

The good thing about this change in titles is that Nana is easy. Aside from the odd concert or train ride (neither of which is in vol 13), Nana is fabulously simple. And my reference tanko for New Title 2 arrived a few days ago ZOMG bishounen!! *flail flail flail* and aside from the odd battle scene, it also looks simple!! Not fabulously simple, but still simple!! Praise be to the manga no kami! *tears of joy* And remember, New Title 2 is a one-shot, so once it's over it's over. Heeeeeee. ^^

Oh yes, and I verified it with Shoujo Editor #3 (aka New Title 2 editor) and I can't blab about it just yet. So you're all stuck with "New Title 2" and my drooling over unnamed bishounen until the license is announced. I'll make a big deal out of it when I can talk, like I did with ~~Temp~~ Naruto and ~~New Title~~ Honey. ^^V

For a small fandom digression, I ended up visiting a Claymore comm, claymore_fans. They don't have the slightest idea that I'm here. Of course, the comm was made after the anime debuted, and they seem to focus on scanlations *grumble*, but still. And no, I'm not going to announce myself. I rarely tell anyone I don't know what I do for a living.

And because of two bad!fic rants for Clay on fanficrants, my next fic will not be Jin/Mugen slashy goodness. It's going to be that Clay fic I mentioned several posts ago. Heh! *hides from a very angry and sexually frustrated Mugen* I've begun rereading Clay from vol 1 and taking notes for fic purposes. It will be genfic and rated PG or PG-13 for violence. So hopefully those of you who don't Naruto or slash/yaoi will read some Clay instead. ^^V
