No, that isn't a sword dangling over my head, don't be silly...^^;;;
When I'm silent, you know it means one thing: I'm exceedingly busy. ^^; I have about a week and a half left before lettering on Claymore 13 begins, which means life is about to get extremely interesting. Even more so when more New Title 3 arrives. Heh heh heh. O.o *trying not to panic*
Script for Naruto 35 is here, so I've stopped work on 38 except for pages that require extra artwork which will need many revisions and approvals. Best get that ball rolling early, right? *is drawing clothing on four different people for this one* Naruto Editor kindly gave me the extended deadlines I asked for on both volumes, which will hopefully helpdelay prevent the need for a 2nd freakout session. I'm trying to finish all the orange and pink pages in 35 now, before Clay and NT3 descend. Minna, wish me luck b/c I'm going to need it. *slightly frantic smile* I really don't want to think about having 6 simultaneous titles at once again, so let's talk about something more fun!! head in the sand head in the sand
Today I indulged in writing during breakfast for an extra hour. Bad s2m! But it was horribly fun and put me in a good mood, which outweighs the slight loss of work time in my book. *nods* Three of you will be pleased to know that the fic in question is chapter 2 of 1S2W, AKA my ShinoHinata fic!! Kyaaa! I've ended up writing almost all I have finished of chapter 2 on paper, as I've been trying to spend my spare Utena moments working on the doujinshi with Anthy rather than typing fic. Writing on paper makes me much more careful about what I put down, simply b/c it's so much slower. I run lines over and over again inside my head before committing to a final version, unlike when I'm at the computer when I just go all-out and type like mad. I think both methods have their benefits. I've also been taking the fic outside with me and scribbling while I exercise. Though I've bumped up my running portion again, which means my scant moments of walking aren't really enough to justify lugging around several sheets of paper, my clipboard, and a pen. :P
Either I need to reread Naruto or do some Wiki/Googling for info, as I need to verify several facts for my fic. I'd rather do the first option, but that's a LOT of reading...mostly I need to verify the name of Shino's chakra bugs and Hinata's little sister. I've been meaning to reread Naruto soon anyway, now that I have all the books through vol 28. Except #20, I'm missing that one for some reason. *not sure how that happened*
In other fic news, Star-chan will hopefully finish the beta for DaaGB 5 soon!! I do have another fic that's ready to post, my TGQ story that won the fanfic contest last year, but I keep delaying b/c most people only care about my two Naruto WIP stories, and it would be respectful of their wishes to post at least a chapter of one before I post something from a different fandom.
Guess that's it for now. Work calls!! ^^VI'm using my new chibi L icon b/c it's uber-cute and now I see I need to fix the background. :P
