It's been a while, so here's a shigoto update. ^^

Claymore - I'm about a third of the way through vol13, maybe a little less. I do have script for the whole book now, which is good. The first three scenes (chapters) in this volume are normal Clay storyline, the last three are flashbacks to years before. I mentioned this in my last shigoto update, and it is good to see certain characters return in the extra scenes, but that third scene of current Clay events sets up one hell of a story. ^^; I fear Yagi-sensei has adopted the time-honored technique of creating a gripping story--then suddenly leaving it to go tell something else. You know, like Kishimoto-sensei often does with Naruto, and Kubo-sensei does with Bleach. *sighs* Even Nakamura-sensei does it with Skip....grrrmph. I wonder when my copy of Japanese Clay vol 14 arrives so I can find out what happens. :P~~~~ Still no sign of my copy of Clay 12. B&N.com says it will be out on July 1st.

Honey - I'm a third of the way through vol 8. Two characters in particular are getting on my nerves. My first reaction to learning in the story that one of characters is planning to leave was "good riddance!" D: ~~Sometimes I'm not a nice person~~. She just has reeeeeely been grating on my nerves. Guh. Enough already! LEAVE! *punts her out the door* This volume is relatively tame for Honey, which is good. It ends with an orange and pink bang, as the last chapter is quite intricate. O.o My copy of vol 2 is here, so it should be in bookstores within a month or so!!

Nana - Four-fifths of the way through vol 14. Not much to report here, as I've been working on this vol for a while and have already ranted about events. Ny copy of Nana 10 arrived this week! ^^V Oho, I also treated myself to the Nana anime themes collection CD, via CD Japan. Special edition with the bonus DVD was still available!! I had a coupon for ¥500, which took care of shipping. Should be here in a few weeks. XD I love the 2nd ending song. I need to track down more music by Reira's seiyuu, Olivia. She has a great voice...

Naruto - I just finished vol 35 today, a month early. Woot!! And vol 38--which I'm already half-way through--isn't due until June 25th. XD Of course, the reason I asked for these distant deadlines was because I thought I'd be juggling 6 titles at once (oooog), so all that time was needed. And as you guys know, I've been burning through Naruto as fast as possible to clear the way for NT3. My first Shippuuden volume, 29, will be out in a couple of weeks! Mina-san, do please have a look at my version! XD I just remembered I still have orange and pink pages left in vol 38. Ttaku mo!

New Title 3 - I finished correcting the pages for the Shojo Beat mag preview and uploaded them about three weeks ago. Not a word from SE4 since. Every day I check my email and expect to see a note from her...still no script either. Of course, since if I had it I'd be lettering. :P~~ I'm not sure what month the NT3 preview will be in. My guess is July or August, but again that's just my guess. (I'm getting kinda worried about finishing this vol, since the print schedule for the book is surely already set and SE4 might end up asking me to letter the rest of the volume in less than a month to meet it, which will make me dissolve into insane laughter ala my freakout icon. That would not be good.)

Skip - I'm one page away from finishing the first half of vol 16. ^^V Normally I'd roll right into lettering the 2nd half--especially since my Skip buffer is gone thanks to Work Hell from early this year--but nope. You see, I had a moment of stupidity and deleted the email from SE2 without downloading the script first. What can I say, I blanked out and thought I'd already snagged it. *konks self on head* So now I'm waiting for SE2 to return to her desk from her current on-a-trip whereabouts so she can send it to me again. Woe. In the meantime I'll letter extra Honey pages to make up for the possible scrambling that will be in my Skip future. Oh, here's a fun note! Remember last year when I went into fangasms once my first Hana to Yume issue arrived?? That issue contained Act #105. Vol 16 ends with Act #96. 6 acts a book, which means my mag run of Skip acts will be in vols 18 and 19. And wow....my next vol will mean I'm lettering a triple-digit chapter. O.o It will be my first title to reach the triple digits...not counting Naruto, of course, since I haven't been lettering that one from day one. :P

Wanted - I finally finally FINALLY finished all the corrections I mentioned two posts before this. Ooog. I'm waiting to hear back from SE3 on the 2nd round of corrections, of which I'm quite sure there will be. But they won't be nearly as bad as the first round, so YAY! Wanted is finally almost done!!

That's it for now, minna. Time for me to get cracking on some extra Honey pages! Oh yes, and I decided my new keyboard is named Tsuwabuki. And I've already dropped him. But just once. ^^;;;
