Tadaimaaaa!!
I'm back!! Actually, I arrived back late on Sat night, I just didn't have the energy to post until now. :P
Clay 14 arrives tomorrow. Late, of course, but through no fault of CE3 or myself. This means I'll be lettering around 19 pages a day again. Which means the return of Work Hell.
In which I have to pack. Heh. Heheheheheh... O.o
OMG OMG OMG OMG....
In a nutshell:
I visited 7 of the 8 apartments I found online. I didn't go to the last one b/c it was the most expensive and in the boonies. I only drove through the complexes and didn't stop at two of them b/c they were scary, in scary neighborhoods, or both. I ended up choosing the 2nd place we visited, as it was the nicest, with the most amenities, and had the best neighborhood. I'm paying the extra $100 for this place because of the neighborhood. It's beautiful, definitely in the suburbs (which are much more my style than a bustling downtown), I'll be within walking distance of a variety of restaurants, grocery stores, and other various necessities. Best of all: two bookstores are mere blocks away.
i've never been blocks away from a bookstore before. I've always been at least a half-hour away, even in AZ. If it wasn't due to sheer mileage, then it was due to traffic. But...I could walk to these stores. If I feel like running by to check out a new manga I just learned about, I can do it. I won't have to plan for a day off, I won't have to check my gas tank first, I won't have to drive for over an hour round trip...I can just drop by on a whim.
OMG.
I'm scheduled to move in on September 9th. ^^V That's the good news! The bad news is....
