And here we are again...

I find it amusing that I've come in a full circle. As always, click to read more. 

This time last year I was struggling with my first issue of the English. As is always the case with the English, it was late and I had to rush. I was under sooo much pressure to letter it ASAP, and yet still meet my Nana, Skip, and Clay deadlines, that I actually worked myself sick. The only thing that kept me going day after day, night after night, was Naruto. I had borrowed my friend Yuumei's fansub-DVD collection and was finally watching it. At that time, I had only read Naruto manga to the 2nd stage of the Chuunin exam, when the Genin were in the creepy forest trying to get an Earth scroll and Heaven scroll each. When I was ready to drop from exhaustion, I would turn from Tsukushi to Utena and hit "play" on my DVD program. Naruto would revive me, and I could keep going. ^^

And now, I'm struggling with the English, Nana, Skip and Clay. And of course, I have New title as well. And while I'm not working myself sick thanks to knowing what I'm doing with the English and my careful page scheduling, I'm still under pressure. But I have the joy of Naruto to keep me going!! I'm reviewing the last 15 eps or so of the Sasuke Retreival arc to prepare for the glorious return to Naruto Manga Canon on Thursday. I started re-watching upon Gaara's triumphant rescue of Lee, when Gaara-sama appears in that incredibly gorgeous dark red outfit. *shivers with delight* I love Lee-kun, I really do. But judging from my reaction when Gaara's face filled Utena's screen....oh yes. He's the man for me. I've long known that I have a thing for powerful, dangerous men. *more shivers* And apparently the more they scare me, the more I love them. Thus, I'm insane for Gaara-sama.  Read my fic for insight.

I wonder how long the wait will be for the fansub of the new ep to appear. *shivers still more with delight* I do admit, I am looking forward to witnessing post Timeskip Gaara-sama, Lee-kun, and Naruto very much.

The manga report includes yesterday's list as well. 

Pages completed on Sun the 11th and Mon the 12th: Clay 9.33, 35, 37, and 96; Nana 12.188-191; New 1.48, 54, 59, and 61; Skip 9.41-46 and 58. Green 1, Yellow 11, Orange 5, Pink/PfH 2. Quota met? Nope, -6 in Clay ouch, -2 New ttaku mo! and -1 in Skip gumblemutter. But page 96 was my last Clay PfH!!!!!!! As stated in a previous entry, this is a very good thing. ^^ And page 48 of New was definitely a Page from Hell in its own right. This should explain it all: Dating Magazine Article...2-page spread...shown twice on the page. I worked on it on and off through the entire day, and it was still hell. ><

Oho. And English pages are finally beginning to arrive. I had to do a rush job today on two pages in particular that Senior Editor Who Loves Me needed for a presentation. So obviously, I won't be meeting my quota today, either... The quota pretty much is tossed out the window when I have to deal with English. But I've been working for the past two months to create huge page buffers in my shoujo titles for precisely this reason. I suppose it's time I made use of them!! Oh, and every English page is either Orange or Pink/PfH, so you can imagine how grueling it is, and why I need my Naruto or other anime of choice to keep me going. But this is the last issue! The last one!!!! YAY!!!!  Soon, I will be free. Free!!! *gazes off into the distance with sparkly eyes*

My mind is blank. But I can't blah out now, I still have a good hour of work time left. >< Gaara-sama!!! Revive me!!!! And to think, soon, he's almost--ALMOST--be of age!! *faints* But hey, he'll be legal by Japanese law! SWEET!!! *swoons into Gaara-sama's arms*
