You know how a bunch of little things can add up to completely make your day?? Here is a list of fifteen small things that make me smile:

1. Tree tunnels
2. Buying a book on a whim and discovering I made an excellent choice.
3. A phone call or email from a friend.
4. Going to the store for a specific item, and finding that item on sale.
5. Spicer-kitty curled in my lap, belly-up, snoozing.
6. Finding a lovely garden on one of my walks with flowers I can sniff and admire from the sidewalk.
7. Rain. Yes, even after a year and a half of living in Portland, I still love rain.
8. When a friend tries something new on my rec and completely enjoys it.
9. Walking underneath blooming cherry trees. See also #1.
10. Gazing down at a book I've been waiting months to be released and knowing I'm about to start reading at last.
11. A really tasty bag of microwave popcorn. :9
12. Finding a paycheck waiting for me in my mailbox.
13. When my friends are happy and bouncing and full of glee.
14. The bathroom scale reading less instead of more.
15. Discovering the perfect gift for someone while shopping, and anticipating their joy upon opening it.

I could keep going, but I think I'll stop there.
