My commenting and blogging will probably be rather sporadic and delayed for a while. It's for the usual reason: work. Today I was good and didn't touch any of my LJ comms (the whole whopping three that I visit daily) nor my flist until aftter all my pre-lettering was done. I'll need to keep this reduced LJ-ing up for a while. This is entirely for work reasons, but I won't completely drop from LJ. Emails and comments are still welcome, just please be patient when waiting for a reply, okay??

Thankfully I should finish Naruto 32 in two weeks. Just in time for Clay 12 to attack. (As always, assuming the translator isn't late.) Then things will really become interesting. I've said it before, I'll say it again: I earn my paycheck.

And on this light and fun note, I shall vanish back into the depths of work. At least I have bishounen in every title to keep me company...until Clay arrives, of course. No huggable Raki-chan in vol 12, and only one distance shot of centaur!Isley. T.T But I do have naked boobies in this volume. Normal-sized ones, too. Realistic naked boobies FTW!! XD This is a very weird post...

Mina-san, for ten months you've heard me talk about it, and now you can finally see it yourself. My first Naruto chapter and volume are both out on bookshelves.

In the December issue of Shonen Jump, you'll find the first Naruto I ever lettered, the "proto chapter", which is a one-shot that Kishimoto did for a Shounen Jump special issue in Japan. The reader response was good enough that he launched the Naruto series as we know it today. I was so nervous when I began to letter this...I mean...OMG it's Naruto. D8

In the manga section, you'll now find my first real Naruto volume, #21. This volume begins with Sasuke leaving Konohagakure, and continues up to almost the end of the Choji/Jirobo fight. By this time, I was used to the idea of working on Naruto, so I wasn't freaking out nearly as much. But it was still amazing that I was working on Naruto. And yanno what? It still is.

So. I know a large proportion of the people who read my blog appreciate the awesomeness that is Naruto. I would be very grateful if you take a look at my version! m(_)m
