HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!! LJ ate my post. I copied everything I had typed, and accidentally clicked on the tags help button on the update journal page. The window went to the FAQ page. No big deal though, since I copied everything for just such an emergency, riiiight???

Ha! I go back to the update page, smugly paste in and see--only the text for my lj-cut link. Everything else--gone.
Thank you LJ, for eating another one of my long posts. But maybe this is a sign. Maybe I'm not supposed to share today's angst with my flist. Fine.

Here's the fun stuff that LJ ate: I posted my first fic to a com last night. I've never done that before. And not only that, it's my first writing of Gaara/Lee. I've read so much of this pairing that I was wary of ever trying to write any of my own, but a bunny attacked when I was considering Star-chan's lengthy reduced presence on LJ, so I gave in. Here's the link: Yes, He would Wait. Work-safe, sweet, rather short, and has spoilers for early Shippuuden. Thus far I'm a hit on the comm. I even brought one girl to tears. O.o

And on that encouraging and yet still disturbing note, I admit defeat and shall slink off to debate if I should try to finish before I go to sleep the Skip page that is currently glaring at me most accusingly from Tsukushi. So much complicated tone to patch in...bleauge. I think the nays have it.

Hopefully getting out for a while tomorrow will perk me up. I could use some serious perking up. ><
