I figured it out. *wink*

Tomorrow, Thursday, is that monthly art gallery open house that I attended back in November alone, passed on in December, then went again in January with my in-OR-for-holiday-break friend who kindly showed me around. She's back in her college city now, which means I'm on my own for art district prowling once more. I've decided that unless I'm a zombie or disaster of some sort hits *knocks on wood*, I am going. I've figured out how to "head-ology" myself into it:

I'm going to look at the art, which I genuinely want to see. If someone wants to talk to me, great! But I'm going for the artwork first and foremost. I hope to see some really great artsists like they had up in January. I also fully expect that any and all conversations I might have during said prowling will be instigated by me, but that's normal. I'm sooooo unapproachable, I guess. *raspberries* (This whole finding local artist friends thing would be much easier if I were a people person. But then I wouldn't be able to do my beloved work, so I guess it's a fair trade. Or something.) Meh.

But wait--I'm going for the art! The art!!

Oh yes, and I'll be wearing my new jeans. Size 6, baby. WOOOOOOO!! *jumps up and down* I've reached the single digits  by two sizes!!! YEAH!! X3
