Remember back in September when Utena (for-fun-stuff and pre-lettering computer) had her meltdown? That is what lead to the conscription of Usagi (laptop) to take her place, and why I have been forced to delete books for hard drive space from Tsukushi (work computer) without backing up to DVD and external drive both. I mailed Utena's shell and her two hard drives back to my father, who wanted to verify she and they were indeed fried (yep) and so he could start rebuilding her for me.
( Computer parts, Photoshop versions, Windows upgrades, and me still not being independently wealthy. Woe. )
In any case, this is going to cost me a great deal of money. *pained expression* But Utena2 will hopefully last me several years, like Tsukushi has. *knocks on wood* (Good Tsukushi. NICE Tsukushi. RELIABLE Tsukushi. *pet pet pet*) Now I have to decide if I want to go with all the parts my dad picked out, or if I want to step down a notch on one or two. Hmmmmmm. At least everything is tax deductable, right??? I'll need to make sure to keep my receipts. And here I was looking forward to having a small credit card bill for the next couple of months. *sigh*
