Whew. ^^; Yesterday wasn't the best day ever--far from it, in fact--but I did accomplish one very very good thing: I finished all the orange and pink pages from Naruto 35. Thankfully the volume is quite light for fight scenes--particularly for Naruto--and now they are done and out of the way. *sigh of relief* Now I'm making a 2nd sweep through the book, this time working on the pure yellow pages. This will only leave yellow/green (dialogue and one or two simple FX), green (dialogue only) and blue (speck checks and page numbers) left. Step One to preserve insantiy: complete.
As a side note, the good thing about Naruto is that once I finish a volume, I don't have another one waiting in the sidelines to jump in. Okay, except for this time, since I still have the 2nd half of 38 left to finish. I've also noticed that the action in Naruto really has calmed down. My two worst books were 21 and 25. In the late 20s and 30s, there's a lot of plot going on. Not that I mind, I'd much rather letter read plot than fight scenes. ^^ Or maybe Naruto Editor is giving the action-heavy books to the regular Naruto letterer. If that's the case, let us hope he's kust trying to preserve my sanity as well. ^^Sai is so cute in vol 35. He gets points for trying!!! Heeeee. And now, something more fun! For quite some time I've wanted to start a page of fanfic recs, and I finally have. I started coding the page back in February, and have added random fics every few days or so. I've decided it's long enough to go up, so here is the link!
S2m's page of fanfic recs! Kyaaa!
It's not anywhere near complete, so don't freak out if a fic you thought for sure would be on there hasn't made it yet. I have two more I will include in a bit, namely Diplomatic Relations from Naruto, and my fave fic by star-chan. ^^ I stuck a counter on the page, so it will be interesting to see how many hits I get in the first week. Maybe 10??? *is being realistic*
That's it for now, minna. Work calls, as always!
