It's interesting how things change.

About three years ago, I realized most people read my blog only out of interest for my work. I scaled back on my personal posts, and fannish posts, and other non-work things. But nowadays, it's reversed. The work posts are usually quiet, and the day-to-day posts generate dialogue. I suppose in the downturn of LJ, those who have stuck around and still talk to me are interested in me.

In conclusion, two things:

1. I am going to start posting more often, and about personal stuff. More about my life, and opinions, and hopefully artwork too, since I will try to draw something not work-related every day. (I gotta make up my mind to install my old scanner, or go buy a new and better one...)

2. My first friends list cut is coming! I no longer know or have grown distant from several people I have friended over the years. I really don't want strangers to see posts I flock. I'll trim the list down on March 1st.

You are safe from being cut if one of the following applies:

-I've known you forever and a day, either IRL or on the net.
-We've talked in some form (LJ, DW, email, text messages, phone, face-to-face) in the past 4 or 5 months.
-We have a mutual understanding of friendship, even if we only talk once or twice a year. (One-sided conversation on my part does not mutual understanding make.)
-You comment here and say you want to stick around. Comments are screened!

March 1st is the date! If you think you might be cut, and you don't want to be, then by all means leave a comment. ^^
