I have been packing all day long. I need a break. T.T So I decided to post the fic I wrote last year for the Tantei Gakuen Q fanfiction contest. Which I won!! ^^V And it was the first (and thus far only) fanfic contest I ever entered. Heee! :3 We won't mention that mine was one of four entries.
It's taken me over a year to post because the fic couldn't be available anywhere until the contest was over. Then the contest deadline ended up being pushed back several months, then a couple more months for the judging, then after I found out I won, the mod said she'd be posting the fic to LJ so I waited and waited, then I was trapped in several bouts of Work Hell and completely forgot about it...you get the idea. :P
But here it is at last!!! (If anyone on my flist reads this, do please comment. Obscure fandoms FTW!)

Last week, Star-chan wasn't feeling very well, so I decided to write fic to cheer her up. Fic featuring her favorite yaoi couple, of course! XD I do aim to please, after all. ^^V And thus we have the following, which is noteworthy for being a 2nd chapter for what I had long considered a oneshot. Heh!
And yes, she said the fic worked splendidly. Yay!! XD

I forgot to mention it here, but I also finished that Tantei Gakuen Q fanfic I wanted to write for the fic contest. I submitted it on the 6th, but am still waiting for confirmation from the contest mod. I hope I can finally share the fic by August. But per the contest rules, the fic can't be posted anywhere beforehand, so we're stuck waiting.
Star-chan's beta? Check. TGQ contest fic? Check. Now, at last, I can start work on DaaGB part 4. Waiiiii! XD
And the other fannish thing I have accomplished in the past 24 hours is finishing my read-through of Harry Potter books 1-6. I would now like to share my thoughts on the series and vol 6, which is behind the cut for those who do not want to know. ( Potterocalypse musings )

stariceling posted a yaoi/shounenai/BL/slash ficlet to her journal. The fic starred the two male leads from her all-time favorite anime and manga, Tantei Gakuen Q (yes, I've mentioned it before). I enjoyed her story quite a bit...so much so that it inspired a plot bunny of my own. So I wrote a sequel and posted it to her journal!!! And a few days later, she in turn wrote a sequel to that!! Heeheehee!! It's fun to inspire each other, ne??
Now, my original version is still on her journal, but I wanted to spell check tweak it, which is why I've re-posted it here.
If you don't have time to read Star-chan's beginning, my chapter can stand alone--you don't even need to know the fandom, really--but if you want the whole experience:
