slr2moons: a self-portrait, of me in my usual habitat: in front of my computer monitors! (I trust you...)
I went and pulled a vanishing act again, didn't I? Sorry, everyone. Especially the two new people on my flist. *apologetic bow*

I'm fine, just tired. For a good reason, though! I'll spare you the details and just say I'm reversing my steady Portland weight gain. Down 5 pounds already. Yay, me! This means I'm usually tired these days. Thankfully work is letting be be tired without having to suffer much.

Claymore 19 is in the can! I should have a couple months before we start 20.

I did two short lettering jobs for Naruto, the second of which was a real challenge. I don't know if this particular book has been announced as licensed and I keep forgetting to ask Naruto Editor. Mum's the word until I find it officially listed or NE says I can talk about it. :B

Natsume 10 is temporarily on hiatus. Shoujo Editor 2 sent me script for the first 80 pages, and I finished them over a week ago. Now I'm waiting for the rest of the book's translation, which SE2 can't give me until the translator gives it to her.

Saiunkoku 5 script hasn't arrived yet. Pattern indicates it will hit at the end of May. There's really no telling with this title, though. *shrug*

Skip 26 is chugging along nicely. I'm about halfway through. This volume starts an amusing story arc that has been hinted at in the teen volumes. I already have my copy of Japanese 27, and I must say: oh my! I do hope we can see what happens to two supporting characters, who are dealing with their own unusual tasks, separate from Kyoko. Particularly Moko's situation. XD Please, Nakamura-sensei??

I decided to sign up for my first fandom Big Bang. )

slr2moons: a self-portrait, of me in my usual habitat: in front of my computer monitors! (dance in the sun)
I am still alive, still recovering from the crunch of the past ~month, but quite a bit happier now it's done. Whew! I'm still waiting to be sent corrections for the 2nd half of Clay 19, but Skip 25, Natsume 9, and Saiun 4 are all in the can. Woot! Skip 26 and Natsume 10 are all that's on my plate right now, and they both have the usual 8 week deadline. Things are looking good! *knocks on wood*

My abbreviated version of Stumptown )

On Monday, I took almost a whole day off. I read in the sunshine with my cat for almost two hours, and it was lovely. I did do corrections for the first half of Clay, but that was part of relaxing. ^^ IF I am home and don't do some work, guilt and anxiety kick in. (Know thyself, right?) In any case, it was a lovely day of relaxing. I took a half-day of relaxing on Tuesday as well. Neekaneeks and McRuthless came out to my apartment, we hung out and yakked, hit the Thai place next door, then I drove us all to the Japanese grocery store Uwajimaya, where much buying of goodies was had. I found three (English) manga vols I wanted in the 50% off discount bin, drooled over the brand-new Tegami Bachi art book ($50 and shrink-wrapped, all I admired was the cover), and placed an order for Loveless vol 9 in Japanese. (You know I love Loveless, and even before Stuart drop-kicked Tokyopop's North American manga branch out the door, I intended to buy it in Japanese b/c I could find no listing for it in English on any bookseller's site anyway. That's the main reason I began learning Japanese all those years ago.) :P~~~~~

Now I am back to work, and feeling much better than I have for many days. I've returned to running, too. The third day, I could already feel the improvement! Always fun. Hopefully this time it will stick. I'm back to one minute each of jogging and then walking for half an hour. My easiest level, soon to be increasing in intensity and duration. Gotta start somewhere! And work off all that food. Being a stress eater has its price.

I am determined that next year, I will be able to hand out postcards for my manga, make trades for same with others, and pimp my stories to everyone. I want to play, too, damn it! X|
slr2moons: a self-portrait, of me in my usual habitat: in front of my computer monitors! (Elegance with a sword)
Yesterday, I spent a lazy day with the wonderful [livejournal.com profile] neekaneeks  and [livejournal.com profile] mcruthless. We talked about art, and comics, and manga, and anime, and webcomics, and movies, and all sorts of other fun stuff. They also introduced me to the Showtime show "True Blood", which I've been vaguely curious about, since I've been a fan of vampires for a good 20 years. I ended up enjoying eps 1 and 2, so now there's yet another entry on my list of Shows to Watch. :B

[livejournal.com profile] knastymike  joined us after he was free from work and the great glorious geekout continued until sleep was required.

That will likely be my last guilt-free day off for quite some time. Script for Clay 19 is here, and this volume is pretty much one long fight scene. ^^;; Skip 25 is almost halfway finished. This vol is a little bit (just a little) less crazy than 24, which is good! Natsume 9 is halfway done, but it is on pause while we wait for more script. Saiun 4 could arrive any day now, and of course when it does, it will be a rush job.

Thus: no more (guilt-free) days off for me for a while. ^^

Oh yeah, and I repeated my previous posts' running performance this morning. ^^V It wasn't a fluke! XD
slr2moons: a self-portrait, of me in my usual habitat: in front of my computer monitors! (D'awwww so kyooooot!!)
I pretty much vanished last month, I know. Work kept me rather busy, though it could have (and has been) much worse. I forgot about Skip before Giftmas while estimating my work load. *wince* Thus, I lettered two volumes in January: Nastume 8 and Skip 24. That volume of Natsume was easier than the norm, which is good because that volume of Skip was the most difficult one in the past ~10 vols. That was thanks to Valentines Day (canon!) shenanigans. Though I have to say that thanks to all the manga I've read and anime I've watched, I've seen an amazing number of different(?) Valentine's Day storylines, but Skip still managed to bring me one that was brand-new. This is one of the reasons Skip Beat is my favorite manga: it's incredibly unpredictable and fun--not to mention beautiful. ^^

I did finish both Natsume 8 and Skip 24 on time, and I am now in the middle of the next volumes of each--with the usual 2 month deadline. Whew! No script yet for Saiun 4, though I do have the page files and am prelettering those in preparation.

I've seen Mistress Fortune and Saiun vol 2 on bookshelves, so they are now available. I would be delighted if you would flip through Mistress, as it contains my best FX and retouch work ever!

My sister has been in Portland for the past week; she flies back to TX today. She came for work, and was able to see me for at least dinner just about every day. She joined me for book club, I took her to my fave restaurants, showed her the sights (my libraries!!), we both spent too much money on books at my local and downtown Powell's locations, and she was able to meet almost all of my local friends. She also had the full Portland experience: caught in the rain with no umbrella, hit up for money by a bum, rode the commuter train, had train fair inspected by a transit cop (yes, we were legal), got lost in Powell's, observed one loud person of questionable sanity, and walked everywhere possible. It was a good visit for both of us!

Now it's back to regular work schedule for me. The standard quota of 4 pages a day each of Skip and Natsume will let me meet my deadlines with time to spare. ^^ This means I've been chipping away at my original manga again! Kyaa! The inks for page 1 are SO CLOSE to being done. XD
slr2moons: a self-portrait, of me in my usual habitat: in front of my computer monitors! (Loveless Soubi)
Of all the manga I letter, Natsume is the one that inspires me to create my own the most. Yesterday I lettered a flashback scene in vol 8 that brought tears to my eyes, it was so amazing. *sniffles*

Speaking of sniffles, the cold I picked up on my flight back to Oregon really kicked in. It's still hanging around, but at a reduced level. Yay! I hate being sick, especially when I have a great deal of work.

Natsume 8 and Skip 24 are both due at the end of the month, which means I'm lettering like mad. Wheee! Fun times, especially since I couldn't even mange a half amount of quota each day while I was sick. I'm back on track though, and making up for the lost pages. 2011 is off to a fun start, eh?? ^^

Liadens and Loveless! XD )

And now, it's time for me to return to work, for I am not Kouga Yun, alas. *sigh* <:) Heywow, the perfect chance to use my one Loveless icon! :3
slr2moons: a self-portrait, of me in my usual habitat: in front of my computer monitors! (s2m cute formal)
This time next week, I'll be visiting my parents back in Texas. It's always a shock for me to study the architecture when I first travel through DFW. Portland is very vertical when it comes to buildings, due to lack of space. Dallas/Fort Worth is quite horizontal by comparison. Curious, no?

Work is progressing slowly, if steadily. Clay 18 is due on the 21st, and I intend to finish Saiun 3 on the same day, which is actually a week before deadline. Looks like I'll finish both without too much trouble, though I can't let myself slack off. I haven't touched Natsume 8 aside from one page done a couple weeks ago so I could focus on Clay and Saiun. Once those two are done, I won't have anything to letter except Natsume 8 until script for Saiun 4 arrives, probably sometime in late January. I'll have to scramble to finish Natsume 8, but with only that one title to letter, it shouldn't be a problem. *knocks on wood*

I've already started laying down extra bowls of food and water for Spicer-kitty. I'll leave him with 3 water bowls and 5 food bowls, and I slowly build up to that number over about 3 weeks, so he won't come to associate extra bowls with me leaving him alone for days on end. *wince* I do feel guilty about that, of course, but it's "only" 3 days and change this time. I need to find a local female friend to visit him while I'm gone. I'm not that paranoid about guys, but Spicer-kitty IS, and he definitely handles strange women better than strange men.

I'm growing bored with my default icon (see this post). I don't know what I want to draw to replace it, though. Something from my original manga? Hmmmm.
slr2moons: a self-portrait, of me in my usual habitat: in front of my computer monitors! (insane laughter)

I'll have to keep this brief, since I should be working instead of typing. Eh heh. ^^;;;

Mistress Fortune, the Tanemura Arina-sensei oneshot volume, is due on September 28th. This is set in stone due to the book's printing window. I have script and am lettering as fast as I can, which isn't very b/c it's a Tanemura-sensei title. 6 pages a day will bring me under the deadline with some buffer.

I don't have a due date for Naruto vol 51's conversion, but it's safe to assume ASAP. I'm going to try for 4 pages a day. Thankfully I've finished about a fourth of the book, with emphasis on orange and pink pages.

Naruto chapter 500 is due in a little over a week. 2 pages a day will easily finish in time.

Natsume 6 is due September 29th. I've already lettered about a fourth of the book, and that fourth is mostly yellow through pink pages. 5 pages a day will let me make deadline with a week of buffer.

Saiunkoku vol 2 is due on September 28th, like Mistress, though it's okay for this title to be late-ish. I do not have script, so this one is on pause until I do. Shoujo Editor #3 is focused on sending me Mistress script first, then she'll switch to Saiun.

17 pages a day. At least only Mistress is a hellish title. If Clay 18 were in the mix, I'd be going crazy. Um...yay?

Yes, I will be insanely busy, but this does NOT mean I want you to leave me alone. I will need the odd break from work. It must be kept in moderation, though. Please do comment, or chat with me via our msging program if I am on, or send me txts or emails. (I know this request isn't worded very well, but my brain is rather fried at the moment. Forgive me.)

I need to get back to work. Everyone, be well! FAITO!!!

slr2moons: a self-portrait, of me in my usual habitat: in front of my computer monitors! (dance in the sun)

I felt like posting, and since I post so infrequently these days, I decided to seize the moment. Heh. ^^

Natsume, Naruto, and a little Mistress Fortune )

My beloved 2nd external hard drive, Isley, has started throwing me CRC errors. For those who don't know--like me until I googled it--that means the hard drive is physically failing. It seems all my file transfers and downloading has worn poor Isley out. T.T I've been transferring files from him to Utena2's second hard drive for the past 5 days. So far, I've only lost two folders of anime. One series I have no desire to archive or watch again, but the other I need to redownload. All of it. *pained expression* At least it's a new show, so the torrents are still up and active. If it were something 3 or 4 years old (and still unlicensed), I'd be anxious about finding it again. Utena2's 2nd hard drive is "only" 400 gigs, which isn't enough to hold all of Isley's contents. I'll be burning things to DVD to make room. Oh well, I needed to do it anyway. :P I'm just lucky I've only lost two folders to the CRC errors. *knocks on wood* The transfer is 90% complete. Whew!

And yes, I transferred all the important non-anime files first. *raspberries*

My new downstairs neighbors are a young couple who smoke. Smoke rises + we like all to keep our windows open + my window fan  = me leaping up to remove said fan and shut said window at the first whiff. *gags* Yesterday it wasn't hot enough for me to turn on Hoth, my AC, and the couple and I were home all day long. I had to do the Window Dash five times. Yes, I counted. Unfortunately since both husband and wife smoke, I don't get a break during the weekday while he's at work. When autumn arrives and I no longer need Hoth, I'm doing to be doing the Window Dash 7 days a week. Oh, joy!

On August 9th, I will be driving to the beach, taking local friends [livejournal.com profile] knastymike, [livejournal.com profile] neekaneeks, and [livejournal.com profile] mcruthless with me. This will be my one day of appropriate summer vacation this year, and I'm going to do my best to enjoy it. Even if it's too cold next Monday to actually swim, I'll at least build a sand sculpture of some sort! X3 Heee!!! I'm going to be a zombie the next day, but it'll be worth it. :D

Okay, back to work for me. Wheee!

Guh.

slr2moons: a self-portrait, of me in my usual habitat: in front of my computer monitors! (zombie)
Today I wrapped up both Clay 17 and Natsume 5. The first Work Hell of 2010, started May 19th, is finally complete.

I did it. I finished everything at or under deadline. Go, me.

I am going to be a complete vegetable for the rest of the day. I'll watch some anime or a DVD, read some fanfic, poke at my original stuff, and maybe even go to sleep early. Tomorrow, I'm going to take the whole day off and not letter a single page. Not one. It will be my first day off in two and a half months. OMGYAY.

I need some time to just zone and and rest. Or in the spirit of my work and passion:

Bo~~~~~~~~~~~... *splat*
slr2moons: a self-portrait, of me in my usual habitat: in front of my computer monitors! (zombie)
A couple paragraphs about the heat and swimming, which I dearly love! )

In work news, Saiunkoku v1, Skip 22, and Naruto 50 are all completely finished. At the moment, I "only" have Clay 17 and Natsume 5. I have 7 pink Clay pages left in this vol, and I'm trying to finish them before I have script for New Title 5. Speaking of which, at Expo, Viz announced their new licenses, which includes the true identities of New Titles 5 and 6. *drumroll*

New Title 5 is Mistress Fortune, by Tanemura Arina-sensei.
New Title 6 is Sakura Hime Kaden, also by Tanemura Arina-sensei.

And now those of you who are familiar with Tanemura-sensei's work will understand why I've been collecting screen tones and trying to clear my other titles like mad. Heh heh heh. ^^;;; If you don't know her stuff, next time you're in the bookstore check out Gentlemen's Alliance + or Fullmoon o Sagashite and you'll understand. This mangaka appears to believe white space is wasted potential. It will be interesting to see how lettering these two Tanemura titles compares with lettering Hino-sensei's Captive Hearts, which was also a lesson in cramming as much as possible onto every bit of page.

I have yet another pink Clay page mocking me from Tsukushi's monitor, so I'd best get to work. It's going to be difficult going today, but I must persevere!
slr2moons: a self-portrait, of me in my usual habitat: in front of my computer monitors! (Default)
I finally feel like I have a short moment to spare, so here's a quick shigoto update. )
I've been reading one of my fave shoujo manga, LoveCom. I plan to blog more about this later as well, but for now I will admit it's making me really want to work on my own original manga. I have the script and the pages I've already drawn open right now. I'm going to spend at least half an hour (in short snippets while I do my pro work) on it! I want to tell my own stories very very badly right now. This is something else to be saved for another post. Nrrrgh!

TIme for me to get to it. Everyone, please be well!
slr2moons: a self-portrait, of me in my usual habitat: in front of my computer monitors! (D'awwww so kyooooot!!)
I said I wanted to post shorter entries more often, but I'm not following through, am I? Nrgh.

After continuously hearing good things, on Thursday I went to the theater and saw Kick-Ass. I liked it. :D I attended the matinee showing with my fellow geek [livejournal.com profile] knastymike, and as we were the only people in the audience, we could yell and laugh and be as obnoxious as we wanted. It was great! XD I do love a private showing. ^^V My personal favorite part of the film (aside from seeing gloriously fit young men running around in skin-tight clothing--AHEM--) was when the female love interest said she was reading Shojo Beat. OMG! *squees* I was indirectly in a movie!!! Oh yes, and I agree with pretty much everyone else: Hit Girl completely steals the show. XD

And now, how about a shigoto update?? )

Omake: my fave grocery store now stocks Chai Tea-scented candles. Oh dear, this could be a problem. Sandalwood is now facing some extreme competition.
slr2moons: a self-portrait, of me in my usual habitat: in front of my computer monitors! (GaaLee)
First, the big news! Thanks to an observant fan noticing a book listing and sharing the news, (note: it wasn't me, I swear) I can now reveal the true identity of New Title 7!! The bishounen level in my apartment is going to explode, because it is:

...behind the cut to spare flists my large text!! )

And now, the usual lineup:

Naruto - I'll be finishing vol 49's conversion today, then I should have a couple weeks off at least before starting vol 50. Not much to say here, but I hope vol 50 will have less action. Two page spreads are hell to convert. Nrgh.

Natsume - I'm just under a fourth of the way through volume 4. This vol is shaping up to be a really emotional one. I caught myself sniffling yesterday. T.T I wanted to comfort Natsume so badly. *sniffles more* Vol 1 was released back in January. I would be delighted if you would give it a try! This is a very strong title and deserves to be read.

Skip - Script for vol 22 is here at last! KYAA!! The first chapter is chock-full of big FX and shenanigans like early Skip vols. I'm actually waiting to start it until Naruto is out of the way. I can only handle so many pink and orange pages a day, particularly now that I'm not as young as I used to be. :B Damn kids, get off my lawn! *shakes cane* Vol 20 just came out. That particular vol is tooth-achingly sweet, but it's balanced by later events. Endure the cute, it's worth it!

That's it for now. I'll be posting a third set of first chapter reviews soon, so please watch for it. ^^
slr2moons: a self-portrait, of me in my usual habitat: in front of my computer monitors! (Elegance with a sword)
Hey, everyone! Here's what's going on with work. ^^

First up, Natsume volume 1 is out!! Kyaaa! It's always exciting when a volume 1 is released. XD New series debut, yay! Minna, I would be delighted if you would do me the honor of reading this volume. I've grown to really like Natsume, and want everyone to give it a try. ^^ I think it is worth it!

The usual suspects behind the cut. )

Oh yes, and I'm being interviewed about my job!! It's terribly fun answering the questions. I even managed to summarize my lettering method in two short paragraphs! I didn't know that was possible. Of course I will post the link to the site when it is up. :3

ETA: Yay, the rest of the Nana 21 script is here! *pounces on it*
slr2moons: a self-portrait, of me in my usual habitat: in front of my computer monitors! (chibi L)
I'm back in Oregon. ^^ My trip to the hometown was very enjoyable, it even snowed there for me! Heh! Every day was awesome. Thanks to my mom and some lovely restaurants I was able to eat almost all of my favorite foods that are only available there, and I received some great presents. XD

Presents, the movies I watched, snow, IRL friends, and cats! )
Yesterday I turned on Tsukushii (work computer) and everything was fine. I started Photoshop--and it froze. :\ I closed it, restarted Photoshop--froze again in the same place. Restarted entire computer, started Photoshop--yep. Reinstalled Photoshop from CD--also didn't work. asdfghjkl;!! I googled the phrase on the startup screen where it kept freezing plus the proggie name "Photoshop reading text global resources" and ended up with a ton of actual search results. Apparently freezing at that point is a common thing! First suggestion to fix it didn't work, the 2nd one did. Whew! Now I live in fear of having to restart Photoshop and encountering this problem again. What if none of the fixes work that 2nd time? *has wide eyes*

And now, the work front! I did  manage to finish two whole pages of Naruto 48 while in my parents' house. *laughs* Now that I'm back, I have to letter 6 pages a day to make my deadline of the 10th. Yesterday I did 12, so I'm not worried. Can't slack off, but not worried! Natsume 3 is in good shape, though I also have to stay on it. I fully expect to have script for Skip 22 or Nana 21.2 today or tomorrow. No news on New Title 5 yet, but it's coming. At least I know I have about four months before Clay 17 hits! Heh!

So ends my Giftmas and New Years holidaze. I am pleased with how they turned out! And now, back to our regularly scheduled work days.
slr2moons: a self-portrait, of me in my usual habitat: in front of my computer monitors! (thumbs up)
I haven't posted in quite some time, but we're all running around like crazy due to the Holidaze, so oh well. :B

Very early tomorrow (Monday) morning I fly to visit my parents and sister in Texas. Wheee! Back in the land of football worship and cowboys. Joy? It will be nice to see friends and family IRL, so it won't be bad or anything. Just some culture shock!! Heh.

trip info, a very brief mention of work, Utena2, and my Giftmas Day summary )

I guess that's it for this post. I plan to post at least once from TX. I'll be keeping an eye on email and the flist.

Everyone have a Happy New Year!!! Kyaaa! XD
slr2moons: a self-portrait, of me in my usual habitat: in front of my computer monitors! (zombie)
I've been a useless zombie that past few days. Lucky for me I only have three titles at the moment. Buh.

Straight to the good stuff... )

Tsukushi (work computer) was complaining about lack of hard drive space on c:\, so I used the automatic "free up space!" option Windows provides...which screwed up Seth, my printer. He arbitrarily would spit out blank or mostly-blank pages. I reinstalled his software on Tsukushi and things seem to have returned to normal. *knocks on wood*

I've also had two chances to read more first chapters, but I have not taken them because zombie!s2m does not finish her daily work quota and thus does not deserve a treat like reading manga in the bookstore. No, I do not. *shakes chiding finger at herself*

Part of the reason I've been so tired lately is I've been going to sleep too late. With Daylight Savings making the sun set at 5 PM, everything is screwy. <:\ I need to start going to sleep earlier. Around 12:30 at the latest, and that INCLUDES reading time.

Looks like I'll be flying out of Portland twice in December, once to visit my cousin in Montana, and again to visit the family back in TX. Usagi (my laptop) will be going with me to both places, particularly since I now have Naruto 48. I wonder if I can squeeze Anthy (Uasgi's tablet) into my carry-on suitcase? Will security make me take her out and place her in a bucket like they require with laptops?? IDK. Has anyone here flown with a tablet before?

That's it for this month's shigoto update. Let us hope tomorrow I am genki again. It would be quite nice...
slr2moons: a self-portrait, of me in my usual habitat: in front of my computer monitors! (Default)
Here's what's going on in regards to work:

Cut because it ended up longer than I thought it would. )
For those who read everything and paid attention, yes, at the moment I only have Nana to letter. O.o I'm trying to finish as much now as I can, since a rushed Clay 16 is about to land, and New Title 5 in a couple of months. All Pink, Orange, Yellow with Orange Dot, and straight Yellow pages are finished in the first half, which is all I have script for. I'm working on the Yellow with Green Dots now. Without more script, I can't fully preletter the 2nd half, but I'm doing what I can: straightening pages, whiting out Japanese, numbering pages, etc. I'm also doing this with Clay 16. It's all about planning ahead! Particularly since L-chan is going to try to visit in a couple weekends. :3

Back to work for me, then. Shigoto shigoto!
slr2moons: a self-portrait, of me in my usual habitat: in front of my computer monitors! (caffeine)

Looks like Naruto 47 will be descending upon me Monday or Tuesday. Once again I'm far enough ahead in my current titles to let me not be stressing out about it. I am, however, going to finish as many difficult to medium pages in Natsume and Skip this weekend as I can. Things should go easier on this third round of magazine to graphic novel conversion. I've especially learned what to look out for when I make my volume key sheet. Number and size of FX on a page isn't as important as the type of background involved, and of course if the artwork has been tweaked for the book version. (As of page 50 in the GN, only two pages with art changes. Nice!)

Scanner shopping, the Natsume anime, and a webcomic rec! )

I've made no secret that I'm rather intimidated by the character design for Bond, the feline main character of my own webcomic short story. I've barely drawn any anthromorphic characters, and while Bond looks like a cat, he will be expressing human emotions, similar to the casts of the Lion King or the Aristocats. I decided to dive in head-first, googled for kitty pics as reference, and threw myself at it. I redrew one lazy Maine Coon cat, added eyebrows, tweaked his mouth, and realized I CAN do this. *goofy grin* I broke through the wall. :D I'm sketching out various expressions tonight, and am pleased with the results. I can't estimate when I'll finish his design--particularly not with Naruto 47 about to consume my spare time--but the hard part is over! I have found the confidence to draw him. Kyaaaa!

Terry Brooks will be at one of my local bookstores next week, doing book signings. This makes me incredibly happy, as The Sword of Shannara was one of the first adult fantasy books I ever read, and stars one of my most devoted fangirl crushes. Ahhh, Shea Ohmsford, how I loved thee....I was 12, and in love...*wistful sigh* I have no doubt he was the start of my obsession with elves. *grins unashamedly* I'm going to dig my old copy of the book out from my book piles and ask him to sign it for me. *fangirlly squirms of delight* I actually have NOT read all his Shannara books because Mr. Brooks married Shea off in the 2nd volume and I...did not take that well. At all. *cough cough* THEN I found a pairing to squee over in his Scions of Shannara sequel series, but he deliberately killed it in the 2nd volume. D= I never forgave him for that. AHEM! In any case, I'm overjoyed by the chance to meet Shea's father, and I hope he will sign his first book for me. You know, since he's promoting his newest novel in a completely different series than Shannara... :B I've never been to a book signing for me before. I'm going to be so nervous and incapable of talking, I just know it. *fidget fidget*

I must channel this restless energy into being productive! Back to work on Natsume and Bond's sketches! BANZAIII!
